Ragini, a young woman from Rajasthan, was orphaned at eight in a fatal car accident. Despite the challenges resulting from the accident, she perseveres. She lives with her maternal aunt, uncle, and cousins, Vivek and Raman, whose insensitive reminders of her parent's death, unfortunately, compound her difficulties.

Her classmates frequently tease her due to her inability to communicate verbally properly. Lacking friends, she excels academically while diligently performing household chores assigned by her aunt. Her daily routine involves preparing breakfast and lunch for the household, cleaning, and completing her schoolwork, all while enduring taunts from classmates and cousins. After school, she finishes household tasks, prepares dinner, and completes her homework before retiring around 10 PM.
